Special Education Advocacy Services for Families Along Florida's Emerald Coast
Think, Talk, Collaborate Educational Consulting provides educational advocacy and support services to families throughout Florida's Emerald Coast, including communities across Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties. We assist parents in navigating the special education process by reviewing IEPs, evaluation reports, progress monitoring data, behavior plans, and eligibility documentation to help determine whether a student's educational program is appropriately meeting their unique needs.
We help families prepare for IEP meetings by reviewing proposed changes, identifying concerns, developing meaningful questions, organizing supporting documentation, and establishing priorities before meeting with the school team. Many parents find that understanding the process and entering meetings with a clear plan allows them to advocate more effectively for their child.
Support services may include guidance before and after meetings, virtual meeting attendance, assistance understanding special education terminology, and collaboration with school teams to promote positive educational outcomes.
With extensive experience supporting students with autism, intellectual disabilities, learning differences, and behavioral challenges, we help families better understand Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), communication supports, social skills development, transition planning, and other educational services that may impact student success.
